Pandabrew is one of the leading craft brewing companies in China, with its origins in 2013. It is a pioneer of the craft beer category, which is now established and accelerating in the world’s largest beer market. It is now number 1 in craft beer in China, the world’s largest beer market by volume.
OUR ACTIVITIES
Unfortunately, with the global Covid-19 pandemic hitting in February 2020, this interrupted ability to travel, trade, the supplier base and international exports significantly.
Sponsorship
Key activities for Pandabrew have included the sponsorship of notable events including the BROAR Atlantic rowing challenge.
Export of Whisky
Pandabrew is facilitating the export of Scotch whisky to China to expand its portfolio and brand presence in the market.
Our Plan
Open bars in UK. To really promote Pandabrew’s beer in UK, Pandabrew like to explore opening a few bars in the UK. This, again, has been hampered by the pandemic and successive lock downs. These could feature Chinese food along with Chinese craft beer and have appeal to local UK-based Chinese, tourists and of course the population as a whole.
Handling import business and brand development and distribution with existing partners such as JW Filshill Limited, Stewart Brewing, Pickering’s Gin and Adelphi Distillery. In addition, Pandabrew sees the opportunity going beyond Craft Beer, Whisky & Gin, to a wider range to premium Food & Beverage from the UK to feature in Pandabrew’s bars & restaurants.

OUR UK TEAM
lei zhao
Director at PandaBrew UK
Lei is responsible for establishing, operating and supervising the companies actions, taking the operational business decisions locally on behalf of the overseas company.
She is a graduate of both the University of Hunan (BA) and University of Southampton (MA) studying International Finance and Economics.
Previously, Lei worked as a Senior Auditor at PWC and Huaxia Bank in China
Lei has the positive mindset to lead the brand into the UK and her skillset will be key to the expansion success.
